When Income Disappeared, Hope Didn’t

For Erica’s family, a sudden loss of income quickly turned into a housing crisis. Her husband had his hours unexpectedly cut, and with a 5-month-old baby at home, she wasn’t able to return to work.

They had fallen behind on rent and were at serious risk of eviction. But this couple is hardworking and resourceful, they pursued all the resources we connected them with. Their proactive attitudes and determination shifted a crisis into sustainability.

With help from Valley Community Church and Monthly Miracles, their back rent was covered and eviction notice lifted!

Because Jesus stepped in through your giving, this family is still housed, still hopeful, and still trusting that God will carry them through.
