Founder + CEO
Kristina Bethea
Hi my name is Kristina Bethea, I'm the exec. director of Monthly Miracles. I'd like to share the testimony of how this charity came about.
Holy Spirit told me to quit my job toward the end of 2017 and to start a charity for the homeless in the East Bay. Eventually with my husband's encouragement I mustered up the courage to quit and pursue the vision God placed in my heart.
A friend recommended I meet Savannah DeLaVara so I can learn from her (she is a young woman who founded 'Restoring Hearts Ministries' and they have been serving the homeless for over 4 years).
A few days before I met with Savannah I told my husband: "Holy Spirit keeps telling me to wait with everything till I meet with her. I have a feeling Savannah might give me her charity." - I didn't think much about what I said since it wasn't premeditated, and I had no reason to say this, but somehow I knew God wanted me to rest and wait to meet her.
So we met for the 1st time on Saturday morning of April 14th 2018, and as I shared God’s vision and my journey with her, she replied: “Now I know why we've met."
She shared that she's been guided by Holy Spirit to step away from her charity because God blessed her with a new chapter in her life: she’s getting married and moving to Southern California.

Savannah was struggling with leaving the charity so she prayed the most specific prayer in her life. She asked God to confirm His will by sending a woman in love with Christ and the homeless, with a business degree and experience to take over the charity. When she met me she knew I was the exact person she prayed for: Holy Spirit was working and setting us both up to be the answer to each other's prayers while we were still strangers!
Within a couple weeks we finalized the transfer of the charity, and Restoring Hearts Ministries became Monthly Miracles - which reflects our mission to engage East Bay's population at large to donate only $1/month toward solving our very serious housing crisis.
As I served the homeless with different organizations in the East Bay, the vision God placed in my heart became more clear: we're lacking specific funds for cases that fall through the cracks. Cases where people are actively fighting to get out of homelessness but for various reasons are stuck or overlooked by various government programs. The Lord made it clear that Monthly Miracles will fill that gap.
We've partnered with many local charities, local police departments, school disctricts and churches that help us identify people we can help next, and which sources we should use to spend the monthly funds most efficiently. We present each individual/family's miracle and show you how your donation was used. We're eager to be very transparent and to show the miracles God can do when we come together.
Most charities ask for more money. We want more people to contribute, not more money. It’s God’s heart for us all to come together to help our neighbors. Every contributor can be confident that their donation is just as important as everyone else’s.

Kristina Bethea
Founder / CEO
Kristina is an International Business graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Croatian American who has experience in business administration, software engineering and hospitality. Her passionate purpose in life is to provide a way out of homelessness to her neighbors in need and to show the tangible love of Jesus Christ to those around her.
Jeff Ribera
Director of Development / Board Member
Jeff has over 35 years of experience in the high-tech industry driving revenue growth through strategic services and partnerships. Jeff engages local church and business partners who share the Monthly Miracles vision to help those in need in our local Tri-Valley. As these partnerships flourish, they motivate individuals to participate and show the love of Christ through their actions.
Kendall Smith
Director of Operations / Board Member
Kendall has more than 35 years’ experience of senior technology leadership roles at the VP and CEO level in public and private software companies. As Monthly Miracles Director of Operations, he works to ensure that Monthly Miracles has the necessary infrastructure and processes to support a rapidly growing ministry. Kendall also assists our clients with vehicle issues and handles our vehicle donation program.
Chuck
CFO
Chuck has over 35 years of senior financial leadership experience at both public and private companies. As the Monthly Miracles Chief Financial Officer, he manages the finance and administrative functions for our ministry. He also assists in our Saturday bible study, as well as client outreach and intake.
Corrine Green
Prayer Leader
Corinne is a mother of 4 with one grandson and has been married for 20 years. At 12 years old, the Holy Spirit filled her to overflow and she has had faith to pray for people’s miracles ever since! She leads our Bible studies, prayer ministry and teaches others how to serve the Lord in their spiritual gifts.
Conchita
Client Care Leader
Conchita, a dedicated mother and grandmother, serves as our primary Spanish translator. She's the superhero overseeing our main phone line, ensuring everyone receives the assistance they need! Conchita also has a lead role in our Friday client outreach, guiding individuals from crisis to miracles, and offers invaluable support in various essential roles at Monthly Miracles.
Vickie Conde
Prayer Support
Vickie has dedicated her life to studying God's Word, honing her ability to listen to the Holy Spirit, and sharing her knowledge through teaching and prayer. She excels at applying the teachings of God's Word to guide and empower others towards freedom, emphasizing that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Steve Bethea
Board Member
Steve, an electrical engineer turned fitness enthusiast and business owner, is on a mission to combine his passion for health with his dedication to helping others. As a devout Christian, he actively serves as a board member for our ministry, committed to our mission of restoring the lives of our homeless neighbors.
Hilda McIntyre
Board Member
Hilda, a co-owner of McIntyre Insurance Inc., is known for her unwavering dedication to various causes close to her heart. Among them, the Monthly Miracles mission holds a special place. She is also a loving grandmother who enjoys spending quality time with her grandchildren. Hilda's playful and caring nature, combined with her passion for animals and staying active, make her a cherished presence in our ministry
