Meet Joyce (name is an alias), a resilient single mother to a 5-year-old daughter. She escaped a past of domestic abuse, leaving her city and abuser far behind. Alone, with no family support, she embarked on a fresh start, facing great financial need.
Joyce is a fighter, working tirelessly with a full-time job on weekdays and a part-time job on weekends. Despite her challenging journey, Joyce radiates joy, positivity, and hope.
Her faith in the Lord is her strength, and she firmly believes that He guides her through each day.
Partner organizations St. Vincent De Paul and CityServe came to her aid, and thanks to your donations, Monthly Miracles stepped in to help Joyce catch up on her rent and utilities. We're also providing new beds for her and her daughter.
Now, Joyce can spend more time with her daughter, find a local church, and become a part of a loving Christian community.
She's enrolling in a budgeting class at Partners for Change, to further empower herself for a brighter future. We're grateful to have met this incredible woman and to have shown her the boundless love and care of God, all because of your generous support.
